About Pigfish

Pigfish Lane Antiques is a curated antique and home furnishings marketplace located in Raleigh’s historic Wayside Furniture Gallery on Hillsborough Street.

Our History

Originally opened in 2018 by Robert and Lynne Knowles, Pigfish Lane quickly established itself as a destination for vintage and antique enthusiasts, known for its thoughtfully assembled mix of dealers and ever-changing inventory.

In 2024, sisters Jess McLamb and Liza Roper purchased the shop, bringing fresh energy and a continued commitment to quality, curation, and community. Under their leadership, Pigfish Lane has expanded its dealer network, enhanced its in-house services, and introduced new opportunities for education and engagement, including events and lectures focused on antiques, art, and design.

Today, Pigfish Lane Antiques spans more than 25,000 square feet of carefully arranged spaces, featuring a diverse range of furniture, lighting, fine art, jewelry, rugs, and decorative objects. Our dealers focus on pieces with lasting character—items that are both functional and meaningful.

In addition to its curated dealer marketplace, Pigfish Lane is home to a full-service frame shop, professional lamp repair, and custom lampshade offerings, making it a trusted resource for both sourcing and maintaining timeless pieces.

Recognition

Pigfish Lane has been recognized as Best Antique Store and Best Lighting Store in the 2025 News & Observer Best of Raleigh Awards, top 5 Best Antique Stores in NC by The Guide to North Carolina, and received multiple honors in the 2025 WRAL Voters’ Choice Awards, including second place: Antiques & Thrift Shop; third place: Furniture & Gifts; and finalist: Jewelry and Small Business of the Year.

Pigfish Lane Antiques continues to evolve as a destination where history, craftsmanship, and design come together.
